Banksia is native to Australia, where the familiar wildflowers are well appreciated for their beauty, versatility and drought-tolerance. A character filled small to medium sized tree with leathery serrated leaves and creamy yellow large flowers in summer. The flowers are followed by interesting pods, and the bark is lumpy.
The plant naturally occurs on the east coast of Australia, even in northern Tasmania, specimens can grow up to 15m. Great for coastal gardens and good for attracting wildlife
